Can your LiFePO4 batteries be connected in parallel?
Yes - while our biggest size available is only 100Ah, you are able to connect multiple of these in parallel to increase capacity.
Can your LiFePO4 batteries be connected in series?
We do not recommend connecting our batteries in series. These are made for 12V usage. If you're looking for 24V or 48V batteries, we recommend looking for specific 24V or 48V batteries.
Is LiFePO4 better than Lead-acid/AGM/Gel batteries?
In most cases yes, but other times you might be better off with a SLA/AGM battery. Things like usage, budget etc. would come into consideration here. Our batteries are made for use in mainly RVs/Boats, but can of course also be used in other application. It all depends on your needs. If you're not sure if LiFePO4 is right for you, feel free to reach out and we would be happy to have a quick chat and see if your needs are suitable for lithium batteries.
How do I size the battery bank for my need?
This is a tricky question as there's never just a single answer, it all depends on your needs and how much power you're able to generate back into your batteries with solar/generator. Most sailboats have a house-bank between 70-100Ah (18-29 foot) and 160-380Ah (30-42 foot).

Our batteries are built with high grade cylindrical 32650 cells..
How long do LiFePO4 batteries last?
Our batteries come with an 10 year warranty. They are designed to last 5000+ cycles (depending on Depth of Discharge). After these cycles you can expect the battery to still hold 70 to 80% of its rated capacity. You can typically expect a properly cared for lithium battery to last upwards 10-15 years.
Protection against shocks/vibrations?
Our batteries are assembled in a high quality ABS case, with added foam for shock resistance while being used in 'moving environments'. We can highly recommend our batteries for RV / Boat-use without any cause for concern what-so-ever.
What if the batteries get wet?
Our batteries are IP56 sealed and can handle light spray or humid environments. We would however not recommend any batteries to be mounted in a way where they are directly exposed to water/dirt.
Do you need a special charger for LiFePO4?
That depends on your current charger. We recommend charging between 14.3V > 14.6V. Most standard chargers are able to provide this charge. It's only important to check that a lead-acid charger doesn't have a desulphating mode, and in case you should turn that off. If you are unsure about your current charger being suitable for lithium batteries, please get in touch with us and we will be happy to investigate the make/model for you.
Is a LiFePO4 Battery faster to charge?
Yes, absolutely! You can charge a LiFePO4 battery much faster than other battery types. For our 100Ah battery, we recommend a max charge current of 50A, meaning it could be fully charged from 0% in just a few hours (depending on your charger).
